Event overview
The Picayune 10 Miler is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Naples, Florida (2121 52nd Ave SE, 34117). The event is organized by Gulf Coast Runners and is the fifth annual running of the race. There are two entries: a 10-mile trail run and a Legacy Runner category restricted to runners who finished the Picayune 10 Miler in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 (4x finishers only). Registration fees vary by date:
- Aug 14 - Sept 14: $50 ($40 legacy)
- Sept 15 - Nov 14: $60 ($50 legacy)
- Nov 15 - Dec 14: $65
- Dec 15 - Jan 15: $75
- Jan 15 until sellout: $85
Course, awards and rules
The course includes a mix of gravel road, single-track mountain bike trails, jeep roads, sand, and similar surfaces. A downloadable Garmin course is available for GPS devices; the course will be marked, but runners should remain attentive on trail sections. No dogs are allowed on course due to narrow sections.
Awards and participant items include a finisher award (a 12 oz "campfire mug" and free coffee noted for participants in 2025), age-group recognition in 10-year increments with awards to the top three in each group after recognizing the top 10 overall, and prize money for overall and age-bracket top performers.
