Event overview
The 13th Annual GCR Thanksgiving Race takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Naples, FL (755 8th Ave S., 34102). The event includes a range of distances and family options. Walkers are welcome in both the 5K and the 1 mile walk. The course starts on 5th Avenue and winds through downtown Naples. The course will be open for 90 minutes.

Entry fees listed for the main events show a price for the 5K and the 1 mile, while the kids races are free. Kids 1K is open to ages 1 to 18. Kids 100 Yard Dash is open to ages 1 to 9. There is no day-of registration.
Logistics and benefits
Pre-race packet pick-up is available on the Tuesday and Wednesday before the event at Naples on the Run (20 10th St. S., Naples, FL); pre-race pick-up is recommended. Race day packet pick-up is available but not recommended. Paid participants receive shirts; all finishers receive race medals. Age-group awards are given three deep and are staged from Cambier Park. The race benefits St. Matthew's House and the event's Youth Development/Scholarship Fund. Non-perishable food donations are being collected at packet pick-up and at the registration area on race day.
