Pi in the Sky : Saturday, June 6, 2026, Phoenix, AZ
Pi in the Sky is an 8-mile out-and-back trail event organized as a FAT ASS style run with no entry fee. The event meets and finishes at the Hope Bible Church parking lot near 9425 N 26th St in Phoenix. The course crosses the 51 Freeway onto the Dreamy Draw Bikeway and continues through the Phoenix Mountain Preserves, including the Piestewa Peak summit. Registration closes June 1. Entry is limited to 50 runners.
Course, aid and timing
The course is partially marked at critical junctions and Garmin coordinates will be provided. Trails are generally well marked but can be confusing due to many spider trails. Terrain is rocky and often technical, with very little shade; warm conditions are likely in early June. Aid on course is minimal; a water fountain and restroom are available at the Dreamy Draw Trailhead. Participants are responsible for their own well-being. Timing will be done manually.
