Hypnosis Night Runs
Hypnosis Night Runs is a night trail running event held in June at the Estrella Mountain Competitive Track in Tolleson, Arizona. The event offers multiple distances on desert single-track trails with rolling terrain and sections that pass among saguaro cacti under a starlit sky.
Available distances:
- 52K
- 34K
- 21K
- 13K
- 6K
Course support includes a fully stocked main aid station at the start/finish, one fully stocked remote aid station called Far Side Aid, and two water-only stations on course. The main aid stations provide water, ice, electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, peanut butter and jelly, bean rollups, and hot food items such as quesadillas and grilled cheese. The race uses chip timing, offers finish line photos, and posts live split-point tracking during the event.
Logistics note that crews and drop bags are allowed at the start/finish area, and pacers are permitted only for the 52K beginning on the fourth loop. The event is cupless on course; runners should bring their own cup or purchase an Aravaipa reusable cup. On-site camping is available and park entry fees apply. Pets are not allowed on course and must be leashed if present at the event area. Medical staff are stationed at the start/finish for first aid and emergency response.
