40th Annual Phoenixville Run
The Phoenixville Run returns for its 40th anniversary as a hybrid event, offering both in-person and virtual participation options in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. The in-person races take place at Reeves Park, with the course starting near the park bandstand. This year's event follows a superhero theme, and participants are encouraged to wear individual or group costumes.
Participants can choose from several event distances and formats:
- 5k in-person running race
- 10k in-person running race
- Virtual Challenge with flexible activity options
- Fun Run for children aged 12 and under
The in-person 5k and 10k races are timed and feature cash prizes totaling $1,100 for the top three overall male and female winners, as well as awards for various age groups ranging from 0-14 to 70 and over. Dogs are permitted to join runners on the course. For younger participants, the Fun Run is a costume-based event held within the park where children can earn prizes at different stations.
The virtual challenge allows participants to set their own goals and select their own activity, such as walking, swimming, cycling, or hiking. This option can be completed individually or as part of a team. All participants, whether in-person or virtual, receive a long-sleeve T-shirt. Bib and shirt pickup is available the day before the race at the Citizen Advocacy Office or on the morning of the event at the park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
