Phoenix Trail Races
The Phoenix Trail Races take place at the Fanshawe Conservation Area in London, Ontario, with the event hub located at the Watson Porter Pavilion. The courses primarily utilize the main Fanshawe Lake Trail, incorporating additional sections near the Dam to complete the designated distances.
Participants can choose from several event categories:
- 25K Walk/Hike: A single loop of the Fanshawe Lake Trail with specific add-ons.
- 25K Trail Run: A running event covering the same single loop course.
- 50K Trail Run: A long-distance race consisting of two loops of the 25 km circuit.
Registration includes admission to the Fanshawe Conservation Area, a timed finish, and safety and medical support throughout the event. Aid stations are situated approximately every 5 km along the route. Participants receive a finisher medal, an event shirt, a post-race meal, and access to race photos. The event also supports fundraising efforts for the organization Animalert. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
