Event overview
The Phoenix Trail Races take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Watson Porter Pavilion, Fanshawe Conservation Area in London, Ontario. The event offers two distance options:
- 25k one loop of the Fanshawe Lake Trail with add-ons near the Dam
- 50k two loops of the Fanshawe Lake Trail with the same add-ons
Registration is open in tiered pricing and some entries include a shirt. Park admission is included with registration. The event lists 28 participants and shows 272 spots remaining. The race supports the charity Animalert and is supported by BackRoads Brews + Shoes and other community partners.
Course, services and facilities
The course follows the reservoir/lake trail and includes wide and single-track sections with surfaces such as pine chips, dirt, grass, pavement and some technical root sections. There are small changes in elevation. Aid stations are located approximately every 5 km.
