Phoenix Trail Races
The event takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Fanshawe Conservation Area in London, Ontario. The stated mission is to support the trail running community and local businesses while promoting stewardship of local trails and opportunities for connection.
Runners may choose between two main distances:
- 25k one loop of the reservoir trail
- 50k two loops of the reservoir trail
The route follows the reservoir and includes wide and single track sections with varied surfaces: pine chips, dirt (and mud in wet conditions), grass, some pavement and technical sections with roots. Elevation changes are described as small. The course provides views of the lake and many turns along the trail.
The event lists support from BackRoads Brews + Shoes and names Animalert as a charity partner. Services noted for participants include park admission, timing chip, aid stations, safety and medical support, a finisher medal and event photos.
