Phoenix Trail Races
Phoenix Trail Races takes place at the Watson Porter Pavilion in Fanshawe Conservation Area, London, Ontario. The event uses the main reservoir lake trail and features a mix of wide and single track. Surfaces include pine chips, dirt (and mud), grass, pavement and technical sections with roots. The route has small elevation changes.
Race formats offered in person include single-loop and double-loop options around the main Fanshawe Lake Trail. Aid stations are located approximately every 5 kms. Included with registration are park admission, a shirt, timed finish, safety and medical support, a finisher medal, a post race meal and event photos.
The event is supported by BackRoads Brews + Shoes and lists Animalert as its charity partner. The stated mission is to support the local trail running community, local businesses and the well-being of the London area while practicing stewardship of local trails.
