Phoenix Running Bedfordshire - Skull Runner
Phoenix Running Bedfordshire runs the Skull Runner event on Saturday 17 October 2026 at Old Warden Village Hall, Bedfordshire SG18 9HQ. The event uses a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) lapped course on footpaths around Old Warden with mixed terrain through woodland trails and paved parkland. The overall course has no elevation gain or loss, making it flat.
This is a timed, lap-based event with flexible distance choices. Participants may complete as many or as few laps as they wish within the overall 7 hour time limit. The minimum recorded distance is one lap, 3.28 miles. The event offers a bespoke finishers' medal for entrants who complete laps, and there is a lower-cost no-medal entry option at a flat £20 that includes event support and digital race materials.
The organisers operate a flexible start system with rock up and run starts within a one hour window and can accommodate special start time requests depending on planned distance.
