Event Overview
The Phoenix Running event in Old Warden, Bedfordshire, takes place on Sunday 21 June 2026. It is a timed running event where participants can choose their distance by completing laps of a 5.3km course.
Course and Format
The course is a 5.3km (3.28 mile) loop around the footpaths of Old Warden. It is flat with no elevation gain or loss, and features mixed terrain through woodland trails and paved parkland. Runners have a 7-hour time limit to complete as many laps as they wish, with distances ranging from 5km to ultra marathon. The minimum distance to finish is one lap.
Entry Options
Two entry options are available: a standard entry that includes a bespoke finisher's medal, priced at £37.95 for affiliated runners and £39.95 for unattached; and a no-medal entry at a flat rate of £20, which covers the run with support, aid station, same-day results, digital BIBs, and finishers certificates.
