ATW Stevenage Spring Half Marathon and 10k
The event takes place on 29 March 2027 at Ridlins Athletics Track, Woodcock Rd, Shephall, Stevenage. It features two distances:
- Half marathon 21.1k
- 10k
Both races start and finish on the stadium athletics track. The half marathon follows traffic free tarmac routes around Stevenage and includes a longer lap of Fairlands Valley Park on its second circuit to complete the 21.1k distance. The 10k route includes a smaller lap of Fairlands Valley Park.
The event provides an event village with live music, a coffee van, bar and food, pre race massage, pacers at different times, warm ups led by personal trainers, and a professional commentator at the finish. Runners receive a custom designed medal, free event photos, and finish line snacks and goodies. The course is well marked and supported by marshals. A free 400m children s fun run will take place on the running track and parents are welcome to run with their children.
A generous 3 hour 30 minute cut off time applies. The event includes opportunities to donate and fundraise for the partner charity Alzheimer's Research UK. The organiser does not offer refunds or transfers to another person but allows transfers to any future ATW event up to 48 hours before the event without proof.
