About the race
Phoenix Running West Sussex is hosting the Swan Around event at Tilgate Park, Crawley, West Sussex on 04 October 2026. This is the organiser's first event at this venue.
The event is a timed, multi-lap format run on a 5 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back course. Participants may complete as many or as few laps as they wish within a 7 hour time limit; the minimum recorded distance is one lap (5 km / 3.1 miles). Runners do not need to decide their target distance in advance and may change plans during the event.

- 5 km (3.28 miles) out-and-back lap
- 10 km
- Half marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra within the 7 hour limit
The route is off road on compact trail with an undulating profile. Entry fees are listed by affiliation status: £37.95 for affiliated runners and £39.95 for unaffiliated runners. Places are strictly limited. All participants, whether attending in person or taking part virtually, receive a free giveaway finisher's medal or memento.
