Phoenix Running - West Sussex - Fox Trot
The Fox Trot takes place at Buchan Country Park in Crawley, West Sussex. The park consists of 170 acres of countryside and has been a recipient of the Green Flag Award since 2010. The event follows a timed format where participants can choose their total distance on the day of the run.
The course is a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back route on off-road, compact trails. There are no fixed distance requirements beyond completing at least one lap. Participants may determine their own goals during the event, with options including:

- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
The event has a total time limit of 7 hours, allowing participants to complete as many or as few laps as they choose within that window. The organizers offer a flexible "rock up and run" start system to accommodate different arrival times.
Support for participants includes an aid station, same-day digital results, athlete profiles, and digital finishers certificates. Registration options are available either with or without a physical medal.
