PHOENIX Fridays - Frosty Friday
PHOENIX Fridays - Frosty Friday takes place on Friday 23 January 2026 at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey, KT12 2JG. It is part of a series of Friday timed events with flexible "rock up and run" start times. Entry fees are listed as £29.99 for affiliated entries and £31.99 for unaffiliated entries. Places are strictly limited. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules.
Course, format and entries
The event uses an out-and-back lap measured at 5.3 km (3.28 miles). Participants may complete as many laps as they choose within the event time limit. Available distance options include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
The minimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as the participant can go within the 7 hour time limit. The surface is off-road riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain or loss and is described as flat. All participants, including virtual entrants, receive a physical finisher medal or memento; the organiser offers a selection of medals and can be contacted about specific medal requests.
