Phoenix 10K - Paradise
The Phoenix 10K is presented alongside the annual Phoenix 5K as a commemorative running event held on November 7, 2026, at Paradise Stronger in Paradise, California. The event honors the community response to the 2018 Camp Fire and routes participants past sites that reflect recovery, including new homes, empty lots, rebuilt schools, murals, a handprint wall, the proposed Hope Plaza, and the local police and fire departments.
Registration options include tiered pricing that increases after September 30 and again in late October; a youth 5K category is offered for ages 17 and under. Participants who register by October 23 are guaranteed a race shirt and finisher medal. The event also offers a free pancake breakfast for the community.
The course starts and finishes at the Paradise Stronger parking lot in front of Tri Counties Bank and follows local streets and the Memorial Trail; a proposed 10K route extends farther along the Memorial Trail before returning to town. Organizers note that all participants must complete the course within 75 minutes. The event is kid friendly and allows dogs on leash. Sponsors from local businesses and organizations are listed in support of the race, and volunteers and community members contribute to event operations.
