Phoenix 5K and 10K - Paradise
The Phoenix 5K and the proposed Phoenix 10K are community running events held in Paradise on November 7, 2026. The races are commemorative: they honor the residents affected by the 2018 Camp Fire and mark rebuilding efforts across the Ridge.
Routes begin and finish at Paradise Stronger (in front of Tri Counties Bank, 6848 Skyway). Course segments follow the Memorial Trail and pass local landmarks including new homes, empty lots, rebuilt schools, murals, a handprint wall, the future Hope Plaza, and the police and fire departments.
The event program includes a free pancake breakfast open to the community and provides separate options for youth entries in the 5K. The 10K course has a completion requirement of 75 minutes. Dogs are allowed on leash and the event is described as kid friendly.
Practical details such as registration, race start and finish location, and route maps are provided by the organizer. Sponsors from local businesses and organizations support the event. Volunteers and community members participate alongside runners and spectators to recognize remembrance, gratitude, and ongoing recovery on the Ridge.
