Phoenix 5K and proposed 10K in Paradise
The Phoenix event is an annual commemorative running and walking event organized to honor the community recovery after the 2018 CampFire. It presents a community-focused 5K walk/run and a proposed 10K run, and it includes a free pancake breakfast for the community. The event is described as kid friendly and dog (on leash) friendly.
Both courses start and finish at Paradise Stronger, located at 6848 Skyway, Paradise, CA 95969, with the finish area noted in front of Tri Counties Bank. The 10K route extends further along the Memorial Trail and local roads before returning to the shared finish area. Organizers list multiple local sponsors and community partners.
