Almond Blossom Run 2026
The Almond Blossom Run 2026 is the 44th annual race, scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Durham High School, 9455 Putney Drive, Durham. The course runs around local almond orchards when the trees are in bloom. Proceeds benefit student athletic teams at Durham Intermediate School and Durham High School and are managed by Durham Sports Boosters. The event lists a donation goal of $100,000 and notes that over $35,000 was spent on athletic programs in 2025.

Race format and entry
The event offers an in-person race with rolling waves every 5 minutes based on registration level, plus two virtual options: a virtual run on the official course and a virtual make-your-own-course option. Chip timing for live events is provided by Under the Sun Events. In-person participants who submit data via services such as RunJoy are eligible for top male and female finisher awards; winners in both the 5K and 10K receive a gift certificate for a pair of running shoes from Fleet Feet in Chico. Medals are awarded to top finishers in each age division. Virtual participants receive instructions to submit times but are not eligible for prizes.
Registration pricing is listed as $45 plus a $1.85 convenience fee (total shown as $46.85). Shirt options include a long-sleeved technical shirt or a short-sleeved poly-cotton blend; a $10 shipping fee applies for shirts sent to virtual make-your-own-course participants.
