Phil Phest 5k
Phil Phest 5k is scheduled for March 28, 2026, at 98 Fortier Lane in Harahan, Louisiana. The event is the fourth annual running of the race and benefits the Running For Dreams foundation. All race proceeds go to the Running For Dreams Foundation.
Race details
The event offers the following distances:
- 5k - out-and-back, 3.1 miles
- Kids K - for ages 0-8
Registration includes a chip-timed race, a numbered bib, a custom unisex event t-shirt, and a finisher medal. T-shirts are not guaranteed for race day registration. Registration fees vary by registration date.
Post-race and awards
A post-race festival will take place in the parking lot of St Rita's Catholic Church with live music by Refried Confuzion and food and drinks provided by Inland Seafood, Bubbalicious BBQ, Southern Eagle, and Coca-Cola. Awards will be presented during the post-race festivities. Awards categories include Overall Top Male and Top Female, and the top two male and female finishers in each age group: under 18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Custom awards are provided by EKG Creations.
