Details
The Phelps Sauerkraut 20K is noted as the oldest race in the Finger Lakes region. Both the 20K and 5K courses are USATF certified.
Packet pickup on race day starts at the lot at the corner of Main & Flint in Phelps, with 8 Banta Street (the Phelps Community Center) given as a location marker.
An early start option is offered for the 20K, specifically for participants who run a pace of 12 minutes per mile or slower.
Awards and Amenities
All participants in the 20K and 5K receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers in both the 20K and 5K events.
Registration includes RFID timing, a race shirt, post-race food, and a can of sauerkraut. A post-race celebration is scheduled near the finish line.
