PFW Running - Lancashire Loop Trail Run
PFW Running stages a looped trail event in Blackpool on Sunday 27 September 2026. The course runs through a country park and passes Marton Mere nature reserve, Herons Reach golf course and Blackpool Zoo, with views of Blackpool Tower and Stanley Park. A short pavement section is included.
The base loop measures 10K. Other distances use the same loop with additional laps or short out-and-back sections:
- 10k loop
- Half marathon: two loops plus short out and back
- Marathon: four loops plus short out and back
- Ultra: five loops
Aid on course and at the finish includes sweet and savoury snacks, water, cordial & coke. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and post race goodies. The event is held under UK Athletics rules. Trail Running Association race permit number is listed as TBA.
Entries are limited to 100 participants and entries close 25 September 2026. Age rules require all participants to be over 18; 18-19 year olds may enter up to the marathon distance, while those aged 20 and over have no maximum distance. Refunds are not permitted. Transfers or deferrals are allowed up to one week before the event date.
