Peyton's Promise 5K Run and 2K Walk
Peyton's Promise is a charity running and walking event held in Sea Isle City, New Jersey on June 6, 2026. The event is dedicated to a child affected by congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and supports CDH research; proceeds are donated to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K Run : 3.1 Miles
- 2K Walk : 1.24 Miles
Registration details are tiered. Pre-registered adult entry is $30; children 5 to 12 are $15; children under 5 are free. Prices increase on May 1, 2026 to $35 for adults and $20 for children 5 to 12; children under 5 remain free. Race day registration is $40 and T-shirts are available while supplies last. Registration opens July 1, 2025 and closes April 30, 2026.
The course uses John F. Kennedy Boulevard along the Promenade in Sea Isle City; the 5K turnaround point is at 6813 Pleasure Avenue. Awards are given to the top two overall male and female finishers and to the top two male and female finishers in standard age groups. Overall winners are determined by gun time; age group results are based on chip time.
An after party is held at Paddy’s Green with a complimentary buffet for participants and the release of a special Peyton’s Promise pilsner. Proceeds from the pilsner support the foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
