Pettit Indoor Marathon
The Pettit Indoor Marathon takes place at the Pettit National Ice Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 7 and March 8, 2026. The event is held indoors on what is described as the longest indoor running track in the United States.
Races offered include:
- Marathon consisting of 95.1 laps around the track
- Half Marathon consisting of 47.5 laps
- Marathon Relay for teams of two to four people
- Running in the USA Gold Medal Challenge combining the Half Marathon and Marathon
There are two separate Half Marathon races scheduled on March 7, and the Marathon is scheduled on March 8. Relay teams are organized through a team captain who creates and pays for the team. All races have participant caps. The Running in the USA Gold Medal Challenge covers a total of 39.3 miles when the Half Marathon and Marathon are both completed in the same weekend; completion of the challenge includes a special gift from Running in the USA.
