PetFest 5K Run/Fun Walk - Kettering, OH
PetFest in Kettering is a combined running and community event held at Delco Park on October 10, 2026. The event benefits the Miami Valley Pet Therapy Association and welcomes pets to participate in the course. The organizer lists a target of 200 entries.
The event offers two formats:
- 5K - timed, three-loop course
- Wag Walk - untimed, one loop
Registration is online only. Fee tiers and shirt availability are:
- Through September 30: $30 for either the 5K or Wag Walk; shirt guaranteed with registration.
- October 1 through October 9: $35 for either event; shirt not guaranteed.
- Race day pricing: $40 for either event; shirt not guaranteed. A shirt-only option is available through September 30 for $18 each or $25 for two.
Transfers to another participant are permitted through September 30. There are no refunds for any reason and race items will not be mailed. Organizers reserve the right to reschedule, cancel, or convert the event to a virtual format for safety, weather, public health, or other reasons; shirt pick up arrangements will be determined if changes occur. Awards are to be determined.
After the timed events, a community Pet Fest runs with demonstrations and activities, including K-9 police demonstrations, pet costume and tricks contests, obedience displays, vendor booths, food vendors, a pet therapy area, raffles, and children's activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
