Memorial Around the Hill Run
This club road run is scheduled for 30 May 2026 in North Ward, with a start and finish at Queens Park on Kennedy Street, between Queen's Gardens and Queen's Park. The event is the second run in the 2026 President's Cup Series and awards club points. Registration is free for members and costs $6 for non members. Registration closes 29 May 2026.
The event offers two course options:
- 11.6 km long course starting and finishing at Queens Park, Kennedy Street, North Ward.
- 5 km short course following a coastal section and finishing at Kennedy Street.
The long course follows local streets, passes the West End Cemetery, uses a trail at the base of Castle Hill, and includes a stretch along The Strand promenade. The short course follows nearby streets and also runs along The Strand before returning to Kennedy Street. The run is sponsored by the family of the memorialized runner and includes perpetual trophies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
