The Pete Shields Ilkley 10K takes place on 7 June 2026 in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. The event is a road race over 10 Kilometres on fully closed roads. The course is an out-and-back route run over two laps and is described as flat.
Event details
The race is organised by Ilkley Harriers and has an entry limit of 400. Runners must be aged 15 or over. Headphones are not permitted except for bone-conducting types or when medically prescribed. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. All profits from the race will be given to Marie Curie Cancer Care; in 2025 the organisers handed over £2,200.
Course and facilities
Race headquarters is at Ilkley Rugby Club, 2 Denton Road, LS29 0AA. Facilities listed for the event include water stations, distance markers, toilets and changing facilities. There are no showers and no baggage store.
Entry fees
