Pete Shields Ilkley 10K : Ilkley, West Yorkshire

The Pete Shields Ilkley 10K is a road race held in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. The event is a tribute and memorial to a fellow Harrier who died in 2020. It is run over a 10 km distance on closed roads using an out-and-back two lap course with minimal climbing.

The course is described as fast and flat, with distance markers, water stations, toilets and changing facilities at the race headquarters at Ilkley Rugby Club. There are no showers and no baggage storage. Ample free parking is available on West Holmes Field, a short walk from the rugby club. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Entry is limited to 400 runners. Affiliated entry fee is £18 and unaffiliated entry fee is £20; if entries remain available, a higher fee applies for entries on the day. Places may be transferred free of charge up until 23/05/2026. Runners must be aged 15 or over. Headphones and similar devices are not permitted on this two lap course, except bone conducting headphones or when medically prescribed.
