Perth Running Festival
Perth Running Festival takes place in Perth, Scotland on 2 August 2026. The event is set in the gateway to the Scottish Highlands and uses Perth Racecourse as a key venue. Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- Destiny 7.5km 7.5 kilometres
- 8 Furlong 1 Mile Fun Run 1 mile
The Perth Half Marathon starts and finishes in front of the grandstand at the historic Perth Racecourse. The route runs along the banks of the River Tay, passes views of Scone Palace, and goes through the North Inch into the City of Perth. The course is described as flat, fast, and scenic.
The Destiny 7.5km is an out-and-back route on traffic free paved paths that begins in view of Scone Palace at Perth Racecourse. The route follows the racecourse boundary along New Kingsway, crosses the New Destiny Bridge over the River Tay, loops under the bridge, and returns to the finish by the grandstand.
The 8 Furlong 1 Mile Fun Run is aimed at children, families, and first-time runners and finishes at the same grandstand area within the festival atmosphere.
