About the race
The Perkasie Rotary Club and Quakertown United Methodist Church present the 25th annual Habitat for Humanity 5K and Kids Fun Run. The event benefits Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County; proceeds support building and home repair work in the county. Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County was founded in 1990 and has completed over 130 homes and more than 267 low-cost repairs. Venue: Quakertown United Methodist Church, 1875 Freier Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951. The event program includes both a competitive 5K and a separate kids fun run.
Long sleeve cotton shirts are provided to preregistered runners and while supplies last on race day. Entry fees vary by registration date and by shirt option; the kids fun run fee is listed as $5 and does not include a shirt. Online registration is available. Awards are given to overall top finishers and to age-group placings for male and female divisions.
Age groups include 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, and five-year increments up to 80+. Recorded course bests are 15:47 for the male course and 18:14 for the female course. Volunteers and facilities are provided by the Perkasie Rotary Club and Quakertown United Methodist Church. Results are posted by the event organizers.
