Perdido Beach Resort Half Marathon, 1 Mile & 5k : Orange Beach, AL
Perdido Beach Resort hosts a beachfront running event on March 6, 2027 in Orange Beach, Alabama. The weekend includes three distances and course maps are provided for each route. All race staging and activities take place at Perdido Beach Resort, with the finish located on the beach steps from the Gulf behind the resort.
The course runs along the Gulf shoreline and crosses the Perdido Pass Bridge, offering coastal views. A post-race "Bubbles on the Beach" celebration follows the finish, featuring brunch, champagne, music, and festivities.
Awards are offered across multiple categories, including Top 3 overall for male, female, and non-binary, masters and age-based masters divisions, and top age group finishers for standard age brackets. Club and team competitions, relay teams, and special divisions such as Clydesdale, Athena, and Paratriathlete are included. A virtual race option is available for a fee.
The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. Participants are required to purchase either a one-day USAT license or an annual membership as part of entry. Volunteer roles are available and volunteering can earn credit toward a future event entry.
