Dolphin Dash 5K and Fun Run
The Dolphin Dash 5K and Fun Run is scheduled for February 20, 2027 at 450 East 15th Ave, Gulf Shores, Alabama. The event begins at the new middle school and serves as a fundraiser for the GSMS PTO; all profits made from the race will go to the GSMS PTO.
Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 1 mile fun run
- Student 5K
The 5K route goes down Dolphin Avenue, up the trails, and down East 15th Avenue, repeating that loop twice. The fun run follows a shorter route.
Registration details are provided for each event. Registration opens for the 5K and fun run on 2026-08-31 at 20:23 and closes on 2027-02-20 at 12:00. Student 5K registration opens on 2026-09-11 at 12:03 and closes on 2027-02-20 at 12:00. Published registration fees are $30.00 for the 5K, $25.00 for the fun run, and $25.00 for the student 5K.
Middle school participants are eligible to receive house points; the organizer requests that students register using the student registration option and select their house. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
