The 5K run is an out and back on the road that begins near the Wildflower Nursery, follows Penn Valley Drive to the park and ride, then returns to the finish. The 10K follows the same start before detouring through a park and then on to rural roads that pass open spaces and pastures; most of the course is described as flat with possibly one hill. The 5K walk follows the bike path along Penn Valley Drive to the stop sign by the park and ride and then returns on the same path.
Registration opens January 1, 2027 for the listed events. Standard entry fees are $35 for the run events and $25 for the walking event. Local groups provide event support: a pancake breakfast is offered for a small cost, course marshals oversee the roads, and a local organizing group handles entries, bibs, shirts, and awards.
