Resolve2Run takes place on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in Grass Valley, California. The event is based at 15725 Mount Olive Road, Grass Valley, CA 95945. It is a fundraiser that benefits the Chicago Park School PTA, the Chicago Park 4-H Club, and the Peardale/Chicago Park Firefighter’s Association. After December 19, registration does not include a race t-shirt. Dogs are not allowed on the course.

Course and event details
The course begins across the street from Chicago Park School and runs on back country roads and trails, along the shore of Rollins Lake, and on parts of the Old Emigrant Trail. The terrain includes dirt and paved surfaces. Adult events are open to ages 18 to 99; youth events are open to ages 1 to 17. Adult registration fees listed are $27.50 (including a $2.50 fee); youth fees listed are $16.90 (including a $1.90 fee).
About the beneficiary club
The Chicago Park 4-H Club, founded in 1929, supports more than 100 members. Club projects include animal raising, sewing, fine arts, crafts, aeronautics, website design, biking, survival skills, and cooking. Funds from the event help keep enrollment costs lower, provide scholarships, and support youth participation in county and national programs.
