Barbara Schmidt Millar Women's Triathlon & 5K
The event takes place on 08/30/2026 in Nevada City, California, at 14800 Lake Ln. It is organized as a fundraising event with proceeds committed to access to cancer treatment, women’s health initiatives, and scholarships for local students pursuing healthcare careers.
Race formats include an individual triathlon and a separate 5K run/walk. The triathlon course is comprised of a 1/2 mile swim, an 11-mile bike, and a 3-mile run. There is a relay teams option for groups of two or three women who wish to complete only one leg of the triathlon. The 5K run/walk follows a slightly hilly 3.1 mile course through Cascade Shores. Participants ages 13 to 17 in the 5K must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
Registration opens on 06/22/2026 and closes on 08/23/2026. Listed registration fees are $75.00 for the individual triathlon entry, $100.00 for a relay team entry, and $40.00 for the 5K.
