The Halloween Fancy Dress Fun Run follows a route near Lancaster Castle.
Race details and entry
The 10km uses a new route introduced in 2022 that removes the hill at the end. The organiser describes the course as a flat route through the Lunesdale countryside. Medals are awarded to all 10km finishers and prizes are given to the first three male and first three female finishers.
The fun run is a fancy dress event with witch-themed medals for finishers. There are no times or positions recorded for the fun run. Children aged six and under must run with an adult. Parents running with small children may run without buying a number but are not eligible for a medal. Adults may enter the fun run only if not running with a child. Medals are not guaranteed to entries made on the day. Due to the nature of the course, buggies are strongly discouraged.
Online entry fees: 10km affiliated £21, unaffiliated £23, Lancaster Runner's Club £17; fun run individual £8, family of four £25. On-the-day entries are cash only and cost more.
