The Pendle Witches event at Salt Ayre (Lancaster & Morecambe AC Clubhouse, LA1 5JS) on 1 November 2026 includes a 10km race and a 1 mile Halloween fun run. The 10km carries a UKA licence number #28545 and uses a new route for 2026 that runs through the Lunesdale countryside. Organisers describe the 10km route as fast and flat. The event runs alongside the Lancaster Half Marathon in 2026.

Race rules, awards and entries
Children aged 6 and under must run with an adult. The fun run is a fancy dress event and will not have times or finishing positions. Organisers state that medals are planned for finishers, but medals are not guaranteed for entries on the day. Parents who run with small children without buying a race number are not eligible for a medal. Adults may take part in the fun run, but adults running without a child must enter the race.
Online entry fees listed by organisers include differing rates for affiliated, unaffiliated and club members, plus a separate fee structure for the fun run.
