Christmas 10k and 1 Mile Fun Run
This club race takes place at Ulverston Park Sports Club (formerly GSK Sports Club), North Lonsdale Road, Ulverston, Cumbria LA12 9DR. The event is organised under Race Permit #30931 and comprises two distances.

The 10k has a minimum age of 15. Fun run entrants under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the course layout, running with wheelchairs, buggies or prams cannot be facilitated. Dogs are not permitted. In line with England Athletics rules for events on open roads, only bone conductor headphones are allowed.
Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers and to the first finisher in veteran categories from V40. Team prizes are calculated on the first three counters and require club vests to be worn. Medals are provided to all fun runners and mementos to all 10k finishers.
The course starts on the road between the clubhouse car park and The Bay Horse Restaurant. It is described as a flat, fast PB course that weaves through Ulverston, heads toward the coast road, enters the lower entrance to Conishead Priory grounds and leaves at the main top entrance before looping back to finish in front of the clubhouse. On site facilities include parking, changing, toilets and refreshments. The event is sponsored by Pete Bland Sports, Steve Martin Associates and Furness Building Society.
