Pendle 5 Mile Trail Race
The Pendle 5 Mile Trail Race is a marked and marshalled trail race that starts and finishes in the Pendleside village of Barley. The race covers a distance of 5 miles and follows an undulating route that includes track, fields, woodland, lanes and riverside paths. The course was previously part of the Pendle Running Festival.
The event is organised by Pendle Trail Running Club and is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics rules. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third place in both male and female categories, and every finisher receives a race memento. Entry is restricted to those aged 18 or older.
