Pendle 5 Mile Trail Race
Pendle 5 Mile Trail Race is a 5 mile marked and marshalled trail race organised by Pendle Trail Running Club. The event starts and finishes in the Pendleside village of Barley near the Pendle Inn, Barley Lane, BB12 9JX, GB.
The route was previously part of the Pendle Running Festival. The course is undulating and uses a mix of terrain including track, fields, woodland, lanes and riverside paths. The event is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics rules. Prizes are awarded to first, second and third places for male and female categories and every finisher receives a race memento.
Event registration opens on 21 August 2026 and closes in March 2027. The minimum age to enter is 18 or older. Entry fees are listed as UKA Member £13.00 and Non Member £15.00.
