Pen Y Fan Challenge
The Pen Y Fan Challenge is a trail running event on 26 July 2026 around Pen Y Fan in South Wales. Participants may choose between two distances. The event is organized by OTT Events Limited and takes place in the Pen Y Fan area, postal code LD3 8NL.

Entry is open between 27 July 2025 and 20 July 2026. Minimum age on the event date is 16 years. The entry list noted 20 participants at the time of publication. Entry fees vary by distance and UKA membership: UKA members pay £22 for the 5 mile and £30 for the 13 mile; non members pay £24 and £32 respectively.
The entry fee includes a buff, a medal, chip timing, a National Trust contribution fee, a signed posted and marshalled route, and post race water and sweets. For the 5 mile the water and sweets are provided at the finish; for the 13 mile they are provided at one checkpoint.
Compulsory kit differs by distance. For the 5 mile: mobile phone, minimum 500 ml hydration, foil blanket or bivi bag, snacks, basic first aid kit, whistle, windproof jacket, and a reusable cup. For the 13 mile: mobile phone, minimum 2 litres hydration, foil blanket or bivi bag, snacks, basic first aid kit, whistle, waterproof jacket and trousers, hat or buff, gloves, and a reusable cup.
