Peer Power Big River Crossing Race (BRX)
The Peer Power Big River Crossing Race is a riverfront running event in Memphis scheduled for November 14, 2026, with Martyrs Park at Channel 3 Drive serving as the event location. The 10th annual edition brings runners, walkers, families, and civic partners together on and around the Big River pedestrian bridge over the Mississippi River.
Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon - two-state course over Big River Crossing, through Arkansas flood plain and Dacus Lake
- 10K - crosses the Mississippi River with downtown Memphis views
- 5K - runs from Martyrs Park through Tom Lee Park and back along the river
- 1-Mile Fun - family-friendly walk/run for people seeking race-day energy without long distance
Fundraising is optional and peer-to-peer fundraising pages are available to support the event. Proceeds benefit Peer Power Foundation, which recruits and trains college students as Success Coaches to provide tutoring and mentoring in Memphis schools. Program results cited for the foundation include serving more than 10,000 students, delivering over 2 million hours of tutoring and mentoring, an average 3.2 ACT point increase through ACT Prep University, and 122 Success Coaches across nine schools.
BRX is presented in partnership with the Memphis Runners Track Club and is featured as the final race in the MRTC Road Race Series. Sponsorship opportunities are offered at multiple levels and can be customized. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
