Event
PECO XC League race on 14 December 2025 at Pontefract Park, Pontefract, West Yorkshire. The race is one of five cross country fixtures in and around Leeds that form the 2025-26 PECO Cross Country League. Clubs compete across men's and ladies divisions. Each league race is about 4.5-5.0 miles.
Entry and rules
A season ticket costs £17 and covers entry to all five races, the end-of-season relays, and the league presentation evening. Season tickets must be purchased online and cannot be bought on the day. Individual race entry on the day is listed at £8. All entrants receive a race number with a timing chip that must be kept for the whole season; replacements for lost or damaged numbers are available at Race HQ for £3 for seniors. The league is restricted to clubs that are members of the PECO XC League. Competitors must be paid-up members of a club affiliated to England Athletics at the time of the race. Affiliated members of non-league clubs may run as guests. Unattached runners are not permitted. Entrants who enter on the day and are defined as guests do not contribute to team scores or earn points in the individual series; only advance entries count for league scoring.

Course type: cross country; profile: undulating; laps: 2. Entry limit: 2,000 with 816 places remaining. Race licence: applied for. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs. Facilities at Race HQ include toilets only; there are no water stations, no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers, and no baggage store.
