Pecan Street Brewing 5K Beer Run - Johnson City, TX
The Pecan Street Brewing 5K Beer Run takes place on June 6, 2026, in Johnson City, Texas. The event starts and finishes at Pecan Street Brewing and follows a course that runs the streets of Johnson City; the route is described as very walker friendly. This race is number 6 in the Texas 5k 6-Pack Beer Challenge and benefits the Salvation Army of Blanco County.
Entry includes a custom finisher pint glass, up to four 8-oz beer tastings from Pecan Street, an official performance fabric race T-shirt, and a well-marked and supported course. Additional event features include free race photos posted online after the race, food trucks for on-site purchases, a single water stop staffed by Salvation Army volunteers at approximately the halfway point, and stroller access. Competitive awards are given to top male and female overall and master (40 and up) finishers, plus top three male and female in standard age groups. A separate random drawing for souvenir awards follows the competitive awards.
Packet pick up is available at Pecan Street Brewing on the Friday of race week from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on race day from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM. Parking is available first come first serve at the courthouse adjacent to the brewery, with additional legal parking near the brewery.
