Pearl Harbor Run and Walk in Keyser, West Virginia
The Pearl Harbor Run and Walk takes place on August 8, 2026 in Keyser, West Virginia. The event supports a young person traveling to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in December with the Young Marines unit.

Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles) course for runners
- 2 miles course for walkers
Registration opens June 8, 2026 and closes August 7, 2026. Registration prior to July 31 will guarantee a finisher's medal. Race day registration is available. The registration fee is $25.00 for each event.
All participants receive a Tin Roof Bakery cookie after the event.
The Young Marines is a national youth organization for boys and girls ages 8 to 18. Members regularly travel to Oahu to participate in Pearl Harbor remembrance events and engage in military history, leadership training, and veteran appreciation.
An estimated 12 survivors of the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack are still alive. All remaining veterans are centenarians and are not able to travel to Hawaii for the annual remembrance ceremonies due to age and health. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
