Frankfort 5K Jingle Run/2 Mile Walk & Kids Mile
The event includes a 5K Jingle Run, a 2 Mile Walk, and a 1 Mile Kids Fun Mile, held in Fort Ashby, West Virginia. The course runs on Dan's Run Road and begins and ends by the former Fort Ashby Primary School. Awards and race registration are located at the former Fort Ashby Primary School at 44 Fort Ashby Road.
Registration has an early deadline on November 20, 2026 with reduced entry fees; later and race day registration carries a higher fee. Race T-shirts are provided to all entries who pre-register prior to November 20; remaining shirts are distributed while supplies last. All event proceeds support the FHS Cross-Country Program.
Parking is available at the Fort Ashby Community Building and at Trinity UM Church on the approach road to the primary school. Parking behind the former primary school is not permitted because that road is private.
Age groups are defined for awards: 10 and under; 11 to 13; 14 to 16; 17 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; and 60 and over. Awards include overall male and female for the 5K, male and female masters, top three finishers per age and gender group in the 5K, plus ribbons for all children 10 and under and for mile participants.
