Event overview
The Frankfort 21st Annual Jingle Run is on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Fort Ashby, WV 26719. The event is presented by QC Striders and includes the following races and walk:
- 5K Jingle Run
- 1 Mile Kids' Run
- 2 Mile Walk
Course and logistics
The course is on Dan's Run Road and begins and ends by the Fort Ashby Primary School at 44 Fort Ashby Road. Awards and registration are held at the primary school. Parking is available at the Fort Ashby Community Building and at Trinity United Methodist Church on the road before the primary school. The road behind the primary school is private; participants are asked not to park there. Fort Ashby is located 15 miles south of Cumberland on US Route 28. The kids mile follows the 5K and 2-mile walk, and awards follow the kids race. If weather prevents the event, a make-up day is scheduled for December 20, 2025.
Entry, age groups and awards
Early entry fees apply if signed up by November 21; later and race-day fees are higher. Race t-shirts are provided to entries that pre-register by November 28; remaining shirts are given while supplies last. Proceeds support the FHS Cross-Country Program. Age groups include 10 and under; 11-13; 14-16; 17-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60 and over. Awards include overall male and female 5K, male and female masters, top three finishers per age/gender group in the 5K, and ribbons for kids 10 and under plus mile participants.
