Pearl Foundation 5K

The Pearl Foundation of Puget Sound organizes the 5K Run/Walk in Tacoma, Washington. This event takes place at Judge Jack Tanner Park, located along Ruston Way. The course features a scenic waterfront setting with a surface consisting of typical park pathways and paved trails. Participants have the option to join the event in person or take part in a virtual 5K.

The in-person course follows a 3.1-mile route where participants are directed to keep to the right and pass on the left for safety. Volunteers and staff provide directions and manage posted signage along the path. Facilities at the venue include check-in stations for packet pickup and waiver confirmation. Post-event refreshments are provided in the finish area as available. For those driving to the location, public parking is available along Ruston Way and in nearby public lots. The organizer recommends carpooling and arriving early to navigate expected traffic near the park.
