Event Format
The Pearce Indoor Triathlon is an indoor variation of a traditional triathlon. Instead of completing fixed distances, participants aim to cover the greatest possible distance within fixed time segments for each discipline. The event sequence consists of a 10-minute swim, followed by a 20-minute cycling session on ICG indoor bikes, and concludes with a 10-minute run on treadmills. Transitions are also timed: 10 minutes after the swim and 5 minutes after the cycling.
Location and Schedule
The event takes place at the Pearce Community Center in Chillicothe, Illinois. Packet pickup is available the day before the event and on the morning of the race.
Awards and Registration
Awards are given to the winner in each age group based on the total distance covered. Refreshments are provided after the event. Registration has tiered pricing, with an early registration fee that includes a guaranteed event shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
