Peak Running - The Dovedale Dipper
The Dovedale Dipper is a challenging trail running and walking event held in the Peak District National Park, based in the village of Hartington. It offers two scenic routes through the White Peak area along the Derbyshire-Staffordshire border: the Big Dipper, a marathon-distance course of about 27 miles exploring the Dove and Manifold valleys, and the Little Dipper, a shorter 15-mile route that still includes significant hills. Popular with runners and hikers from across the UK, the event features stunning landscapes of hills, valleys, and villages.
Organized by Peak Running, it continues a tradition dating back to 2003, providing a memorable outdoor challenge in a beautiful setting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
