The Dovedale Dipper
The Dovedale Dipper is a trail event in the Peak District National Park based at Hartington Village Hall, Hartington, Derbyshire SK17 0AW. The event offers two routed distances that pass through hills, valleys and villages on the Derbyshire-Staffordshire border. Light refreshments are provided at checkpoints and hot food is available at the finish. Checkpoints operate within set opening and closing times and intermediate cut-off times will be applied.
Entries for the event run from 20 March 2026 to 26 July 2026. The minimum age to enter is 18 years. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £32.00 and Non-affiliated £34.00. Competitive runners begin in a mass start on each course. Walkers and non-competitive runners may use an early start option. There is an overall time limit and participants must meet checkpoint cut-offs to continue. The event has been organised by different local groups in the past and is currently organised by CraggRunner.
