Ken Bingley Memorial 10k
The Ken Bingley Memorial 10k is a commemorative road and off road event held in South Elmsall, West Yorkshire. The race honours the life of Ken Bingley and encourages participants to treat the event as a memorial and celebration of people they have lost. All participants receive a memento.
The course is a single lap of 10 kilometres described as multi terrain with an undulating profile. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. The entry limit is 500 places and the listing shows 465 places remaining. The race licence is pending.
As a primarily charity fundraising event, all profits will be divided equally between the MS Trust and Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Trophies are available for the first three male and female finishers. Entry categories and fees are listed as affiliated £18.00 and unaffiliated £20.00 and entry on the day may be available if the event has not sold out.
Race headquarters are at Frickley Athletic Football Club Pavilion, The Big Fellas Stadium, Westfield Lane, South Elmsall, West Yorkshire, WF9 2EQ. On course facilities include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage.
