The race starts from the former Peak Forest Village Store on Church Lane, Peak Forest, SK17 8EL. The route is marked at key points and marshals are present.

Entry and facilities

Pre-entry is available with an entry fee of £8.00; entries open 4 November 2025 and close 10 July 2026. Entry on the day is possible; the on-day fee is £10.00 and registration on the day takes place at Peak Forest Reading Room, SK17 8EF. The event has a minimum age of 18. Free car parking is provided on the village recreation ground and will be signposted. Hot drinks and cakes are available after the race.

Records and insurance
