About the race
Ranger Ultras Peak District South & North is a two-day trail ultra starting and finishing in Edale, offering three distances: Stage 1 White Peak Trails 50km, Stage 2 Dark Peak Challenge 43km, or the full 93km combining both days. The route traverses the White Peak and Dark Peak in late autumn/winter conditions, with tree-lined vales, moorland plateaus, gritstone edges and classic Peak District trails, featuring mixed navigation challenges. The event promotes a low-key, great-value atmosphere with generous timings, Ranger Safety Team support, navigation notes and GPX, on-course snacks and HQ hospitality, plus finishers medals and trophies.
