Heaton Park Running Events
The Run Heaton series returns to the grounds of Heaton Park, located just north of Manchester. This large park features a Grade 1 listed neoclassical 18th-century house, providing a historical setting for the event. The course is supported by a team of marshals who guide participants toward the finish line, and every kilometre is marked with distance flags for accuracy.
The event offers several race distances to choose from:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
- Junior Race
At the centre of the activity is a well-serviced event village. This area includes various food and drink options as well as items provided by event partners at the finish line. As part of a sustainability initiative, event t-shirts featuring the logo are optional and can be purchased during the registration process rather than being automatically included for every participant.
The venue is situated in Manchester, specifically near the boating lake and overflow areas of the park.
