The 2026 Peachtree City Classic
The Peachtree City Classic is an annual running event held in Peachtree City, Georgia. Historically established in 1981, the race celebrates its 46th anniversary in 2026. The event features two primary distances on paved surfaces:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 15K (9.3 miles)
The courses are USATF-certified and primarily utilize the local network of paved golf cart paths. Runners travel through greenbelt areas, passing lakes, crossing bridges, and moving through tunnels. The 5K serves as a qualifier for the Peachtree Road Race. The 15K is designated as an RRCA State Championship event.
The race originates at McIntosh Trail and follows scenic routes typical of the Peachtree City landscape. Both events require a registration fee and are open for public participation. The courses have previously been recognized by Georgia Athlete Magazine for their layout and scenery. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
