Course and timing
The venue is Mosaic Peace River Park at 2200 C.R. 640, Bartow, FL. The course is a looped route of at least 10 miles, running on rolling grass trails with some sandy sections. Aid stations are placed every 2-3 miles. The event used a 36-hour cutoff and race timing was provided by Trailhead Ultras.
Awards, finishers and race items
Awards were planned for male and female finishers: 1st through 5th overall, then next finisher over 40 (Masters), over 50 (Grandmasters), and over 60 (Senior Grandmaster). Awards for the oldest male and female finisher were also listed. A buckle was offered for all 100 mile finishers. Participant items included a long sleeve shirt, race socks, and stickers.
Services and community contributions
Food listed for aid and post-race included hot grilled items with at least 30 lbs of bacon, smoked brisket, chicken, quesadillas, griddle cakes, plus standard ultra foods and drinks such as snack bars, pickles, pickle juice, soda, and bananas. Ten dollars from each registration fee was designated for Polk County Parks and Recreation. ROCYCLE was listed to collect small electronics on site; no large appliances would be accepted.
