Event overview
The event in Lake Wales, Florida offers three race options:

- 6 Hours
- 5 Miles
The event is limited to the first 100 entrants. All registered runners receive a long sleeve shirt. Registration by Dec 1, 2025 guarantees shirt size and name on the bib. Registration closes on Dec 17, 2025.
Course, format and logistics
The course is made of 5-mile loops around Lake Wailes Lake. The path surface is grass and asphalt. Parking and the Runners Village are at Lake Wailes Park, 33 N Lake Shore Blvd, Lake Wales FL 33853. Aid stations are located at each end of the out-and-back sections.
Race formats: 5 Mile runners complete one loop. 6 Hour and 12 Hour runners complete as many 5-mile laps as they can within their event time and must finish the lap they are on for it to count. A 12 Hour relay option allows teams to run for 12 hours with one team member on course at a time; teams pass a timing chip between members and decide lap order.
Food is available at the Runners Village, including bacon and pancakes, hotdogs and hamburgers, quesadillas, smoked or grilled chicken, soda, and snacks.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each event, masters awards for the next over-40 male and female, and finisher awards for any runner or relay team completing six laps. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
