Long Haul 100 - Lakeland, FL
The Long Haul 100 is a trail running event held at Colt Creek State Park in Lakeland, Florida. The event offers two distance options and is listed as a Western States qualifier and Trail Sisters approved.
- 100 Miler - six loops of 16.7 miles each
- 100 Furlongs - single abbreviated loop, about 12.5 miles
Course, support and policies
The 100-mile course includes access to drop bags every loop and three fully staffed aid stations. The race notes possible wildlife sightings on the course, including alligators, otters, gopher tortoises, and fox squirrels. Finishers receive a belt buckle; sub-30-hour finishers earn eligibility for the Western States lottery. Pacers are allowed after loop 3; runners aged 60 or older may have a pacer at any time. All pacers must sign a waiver.
Parking is organized in four park areas; RVs are permitted only in the RV campground. The event does not offer refunds. Rollover credit is available on a sliding scale: 65% credit 90+ days out, 50% credit 30-89 days, 35% credit 10-29 days, and no credit within 0-9 days.
