The P.A.W.S. & Pals 5K returns for its second annual edition at Depot Street Park in Greenfield, Indiana. This community event is organized by the Partners for Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S. Registration includes a participant medal, snacks, and bottled water. The event is dog-friendly, allowing pets to participate free of charge alongside their owners. Owners must ensure all pets are leashed and updated on their vaccinations. For each dog in attendance, the organizers provide a bandana, dog treats, and access to water and disposable bowls.
Awards are presented to the top three finishers in three specific categories: men, women, and pets. Gold, silver, and bronze medals along with prizes are awarded to these winners.
